Our Story
The Corner Supermarket began in 1985 when Mr. Tan Ah Kow opened a small grocery shop at the corner of Jalan Cheras. What started as a humble provision store has grown into a beloved neighborhood supermarket, serving generations of families in our community.
For nearly four decades, we have remained true to our founding principles: offering fresh, quality products at fair prices, while providing the personalized service that only a family-owned business can deliver.
Today, the supermarket is run by the second generation of the Tan family, who continue the legacy of their father while embracing modern practices to serve our customers better. We have expanded our product range to include organic options, international goods, and ready-to-eat meals, while never forgetting our roots as your friendly neighborhood grocer.
